Originating from the heart of Europe, rye has been a staple grain for generations, cherished for its unique flavor, nutritional benefits, and versatility in the kitchen.

Packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber, rye flour offers a host of health benefits, including improved digestion, heart health, and blood sugar regulation.

Rye Flour is exceptional in sourdough baking, where its natural acidity and complex flavors come to life.  It works great for feeding a sourdough starter, or to use in your sourdough loaves.

With its earthy, slightly sweet flavor and dense texture, Rye Flour adds depth and complexity to baked goods.

However, its lower gluten content and unique properties require special consideration in baking.

When working with Rye Flour, be sure to adjust hydration levels accordingly to achieve optimal results.

Consider mixing with other flours as well, to achieve optimal texture.

Like all of our flour and wheat products, our Rye flour is 100% natural with no additives or preservatives. Glyphosate Free
