Originating from Scotland, and later making its way to Canada, this ancient grain is known as the "baker's dream" for its unique baking properties and rich flavor.

Because of its softer gluten strength, it is great in cookies, cakes and pastries and makes very soft pizza dough and bread.

We love using it for pizza dough, pancakes and biscuits

Here are some baking tips when using Red Fife flour:

  • Adjust Liquid Content: Red Fife Flour tends to absorb more moisture than other flours, so start by using slightly less liquid in your recipes and adjust as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Experiment by blending it with other flours to achieve the perfect texture in your recipes.
